Dr. Vimal Kumar Kashyap is an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Political Science & International Relations at the Central University of
Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), Dehra, since 2019. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. from
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), specialising in Indo-Pacific studies. His research
focuses on India’s foreign policy, maritime security, ASEAN, cyber issues, and
strategic affairs. He is a member of both the International and Indian
Political Science Associations. He earned his M.A. from BHU and B.A. from Avadh
University.
