Hem Raj Bansal is an Associate Professor in the Department of English in the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala. He has co-edited four books of critical essays on Diaspora, Aboriginal literatures, African women’s fiction and Reimagining Myths and Narratives. He has also authored an anthology of poems in Hindi Haanfti Zindagi (2018) and co-edited another in English Traversing Indian Mythos through Poesy (2022). He has also been the recipient of the Best Paper Presentation Award on Shakespeare (2014), the Isaac Sequeira Memorial Award at MELOW 2021, and Prof. Jaidev Memorial Award 2022. He was also felicitated with the Best Teacher Award by CUHP in 2023. He has published with such reputed publishers as Palgrave McMillan, Routledge, Sage, Springer and Cambridge Scholars Publishing among others and has above fifty research papers, book chapters and book reviews to his credit.  He is also the Section Editor of the University Newsletter Dhauladhar Sandesh and Programme Officer-NSS.
